The Missouri Division of Cannabis Regulation is issuing a communication to alert patients and consumers about a mandatory recall affecting products distributed by Delta Extraction, LLC, MAN000022 to dispensaries and manufacturers.
Per the agency, the products recalled were not properly tracked within the METRC system. This oversight means the Division cannot confirm if the products were sourced from marijuana cultivated in Missouri or if they underwent mandatory testing before being sold.
Although no adverse reactions have been reported, consumers and patients who have these products should stop using them. Any unused items can either be disposed of or returned to the dispensary of purchase. Importantly, returns will not be deducted from a patient’s purchase limit. For return-related queries, patrons should reach out to the dispensary where they acquired the product.
A full list of the 62,800 recalled products is available on the Missouri Department of Health and Human Services’ website.
Andrew Mullins, Executive Director of the Missouri Cannabis Trade Association, remarked that despite the budding success of Missouri’s cannabis industry, product recalls underscore the importance of robust regulations in the cannabis market.
