On October 22, 2024, at approximately 9 PM, a marijuana and firearms seizure unfolded after a traffic stop by the California Highway Patrol (CHP). During the stop, two passengers fled on foot, and officers found between 10 to 15 bags of processed marijuana in the vehicle. This discovery led to a major investigation in San Joaquin County.
CHP requested help from San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office Deputies to check the registered owner’s home near E Lone Tree Rd and Victory Rd in Oakdale, California. Upon arrival, deputies observed signs of illegal drug activity, including drug paraphernalia, suspected narcotics, and materials commonly used in drug distribution.
One individual fled the scene while several others were detained. The property was secured, and a search warrant was obtained. The subsequent search resulted in a significant marijuana and firearms seizure, uncovering:
- Approximately 3,800 pounds of processed marijuana
- Six assault rifles
- Three handguns
- Approximately $25,000 in cash

They now face serious charges, including possession of an assault weapon, possession of marijuana for sale, armed with a firearm, conspiracy to commit a crime, and operating or maintaining a drug house.
