Louisiana – On September 6, 2024, the Zachary Police Department conducted a significant operation, resulting in the largest drug bust in the city’s history. After an extensive investigation, officers executed search warrants at 5704 Fairway Drive, Zachary, Louisiana. The raid led to the arrest of Dylan Raborn, who now faces multiple felony charges related to drug distribution and the operation of illegal drug labs.
Raborn, born on March 9, 1993, was charged with 10 counts of Possession with Intent to Distribute (PWID) Schedule I narcotics, two counts of PWID Schedule II narcotics, and one count each for operating a hallucinogenic mushroom lab, operating a clandestine lab, possession of drug paraphernalia, and transactions involving drug proceeds.
The Zachary Police Department seized a staggering amount of contraband during the raid. Items confiscated included:
- $1,637 in cash, found in Raborn’s bedroom
- 100 large vacuum-sealed bags of hallucinogenic mushrooms
- 685 mushroom grow kits
- 419 “Push” THC pens
- 645 THC carts
- 463 “Muah Meds” THC vape pens
- 350 “GOCart” THC vape pens
- 165 “Packwoods” THC vape pens
- 655 suspected pressed Adderall pills
- 14.8 grams of methamphetamine
- 75 grams of marijuana
- 34 grams of heroin
- 91 unidentified brown pills
- 1,000 blue pill capsules
- 35 jars of THC wax
- Two large bags of mushroom soy hull pellets
- Five jars of hallucinogenic mushrooms
- One pill press
- One marijuana grow light
- One large box of California-grade THC product boxes for repackaging
- Numerous items used in the operation of a drug clandestine lab
This historic narcotics seizure highlights the scale of illegal drug operations taking place in the area. It also underscores the commitment of the Zachary Police Department to curbing drug-related crimes and protecting the community.
